System is operating upon arrival. Stephanie says there is no issues with systems or airflow. Thermostat is responsive when calling for heat. She says she replaces filters every month. I recommended upgrading to a better filtration option, which would be the pure air X polarizer, since it has less resistance than her current Merv5 rating filter, and does a better job with cleaning the air and keeping the system clean. Air handler is located in hallway closet by stairs. Blower is full of debris and should be cleaned. Amperage on blower is still within range. Circuitboard is free for any electrical damage. All electrical components were tightened up. All water is draining properly. filter was replaced. Heat pump is located behind the home. Disconnect box and fuses are in good condition. Circuit board has minor electrical damage and all electrical components were tightened up. Contactor free from any electrical damage. Amperage on compressor and fan motor are within range. Systems are running upon arrival. Spoke with Susan on the phone to approve adding 2 more memberships so I can be able to do all systems since there are 4 systems and we only had 2 on file. Powered up all mini splits and all are operating properly. Susan’s has an issue with her bedrooms system not opening the flap when starting up, while I was here I tested it multiple times and it did not occur. I did notice it was dirty and I highly recommend cleanings. All filters were dirty, I washed them all and reinstalled. All evaporative coils had debris, highly recommend cleanings to all systems. Washed down all heat pump mini splits outside. All mini split temperatures were within range. All motor amperages are within range. All systems were left running upon departure.
Inspected ductwork, which is mainly hard pipe and one piece of old gray flexible ductwork. Client would like ducks cleaned also inspected filter, which is a hog hair filter. Blower wheel is extremely dirty and compacted is decreasing airflow and efficiency of equipment recommendation is to upgrade return grill to a high flow install a Merv 13 filter and clean the blower wheel. Ducts would benefit from a cleaning as well. System is 15 years old going to give options for a system update.
Answered questions regarding estimate for ductwork cleaning as well as dryer vent cleaning and will go complete estimate tomorrow
Called Leslie because she had some questions on smoke alarms. The smoke alarm in her bedroom is chirping and she wants to know if there’s any way of stopping the chirping or replacing the batteries. The ones we install cannot replace the batteries so i advised her to replace it. She is now interested in replacing all 3 in her home at the same time. She wants to get it done next time we come out for one of her tune ups.
Windows installed.
At customers home for inspection.
One loose screw was causing the outdoor unit to rattle. I tightened up all the screws and system work quiet now.

Picked up the portable and the Cabs sign. Jesse had a question about the thermostat. Thermostat had a scheduled it was following so I turned of the schedule
Upon arrival client stated that the system was making a helicopter noise. She turned the system one and we went to the back yard but it wasn’t making the noise anymore. She showed me a video and I can confirm it sounded like a helicopter. I inspected the fan motor to see if anything could be interfering with it but nothing was there. My guess is that a plastic bag or something of sort flew in there and was flapping around. System is working upon departure.
Upon arrival, customer has a water heater that was not set to a very high temperature in her new home. So we adjusted her water heater. Her HVAC system is from 2014. Still operable customer potentially interested in a tune-up in the future.
Install completed, paid 11,556.
During our AC tune-up appointment, we arrived to find that the system was not functioning normally. We spoke with Debbie, Jeanne's daughter, who informed us that the AC had stopped blowing cold air after the recent heat wave. Debbie also mentioned that she usually replaces the filters regularly, but did not have a replacement on hand at the moment. The thermostat was responsive when calling for cool air. The heat pump is located on the rooftop, and we checked the disconnect box and fuses, which were in good condition. Upon approaching the system, we noticed that both the compressor and the condenser fan were not running. We opened up the unit to inspect the components, and tested the amperage on the compressor and condenser fan. Both readings were zero, indicating a blown capacitor. The amperage on the blower motor was fine, but the blower fan itself was dirty and in need of cleaning. The evaporator coil also had some debris buildup and should be cleaned. We observed that the evaporat
CFM burned out. Blower motor is covered in dirt and oil and the compressor windings are fluctuating.
Upon arrival customer had a functioning heat pump split system installed in 2012. Customer was interested in having us ensure that the system was working properly and that everything looked good. At the moment there does not need to be a system changed. Everything was functioning appropriately
ac tune up: all systems are running upon arrival. Washed down all filters from every mini split/wall mount. Made sure all temperatures of every single mini split were accurate. Recommended cleanings for all mini split wall units. Checked all lines on outside units, as well as wash down heat pumps. all units could use a deep cleaning to ensure more efficiency. Added another unit with two wall mounts to the membership, Susan approved. all systems were left running upon departure.
First day complete
Customer has a 30-year-old Ac unit that we came out and repaired on Tuesday, May 14th and was advised that she should look into replacing our unit. They are in the middle of closing on their house so they want a price estimate done to be able to give to the seller to try to negotiate on splitting the cost for the new AC unit. They do not need the furnace at the moment so they would like to just get an estimate for the 3-ton gas split. I was not able to send an estimate through service Titan. The individual AC units on the price book have a $0 amount so I gave the representing agent the price based off of the cheat sheets that we have on the 3-ton gas split units. We will need to build an estimate and send her that ASAP for just the individual unit so that she can present that to the sellers and buyers
Arrived on site diagnostic on a 34-year-old system. Upon arrival system is calling for cool at the thermostat and sending signal to the control board as well as the outdoor unit. However, the high voltage is not presence that is required to start the system itself. Check power going into the disconnect and 240 V was present; checked fuses and fuses are not blown. Also checked power at contactor, and there is no power present at contactor. Followed wires and identified melted wires that go from the disconnect to the contactor; in order to further diagnostic process; needed to fix those wires. Got approval to repair wires prior to continuing. Once wires were reconnected the system did start up and presented a 20° temperature split in the home. Insulation falling off-line set was advised to be replaced today as well; work was also approved. there are likely other issues present with the unit due to the melting of the wires; the wiring that is inside the unit is all aluminum as the system
