Great service as always!
Arrived onsite for 8 year old carrier, split in attic and side yard. Talked with client about they system and how it’s been running informed me that the system hasn’t been used as of late, but was going to turn it on today. Let client know they can always turn their system on before the tune ups. Talked with client about filter replacement, checked filter and filter still in good quality, due to the system not being ran often. Tested all components, while testing components did notice some dry water spots in drain pan, indicating water had been in pan previously, also noted no ceiling saver in drain pan and left estimate for ceiling saver, or float switch in side the pan. No water in pan today, but water stains from previous water. Recommended adding drain pan switch inside to prevent any water damage, if drain lines drain d up clogging. Noticed dry water in pan. System was saying battery low on thermostat, client wasn’t sure what that was, so I opened up thermostat, checked made sure thermostat was ok. Noticed thermostat batteries was corroded, and replaced with brand new batteries. Thermostat flashed, and reset it self, I turned heating on to heat and tested system. System fired up right away. Client stated that electrical in other rooms, wouldn’t turn on and noticed that the breakers were off. Let client know if the breaker issue happened when calling for cooling to call us out. Other than that unit turned on correctly after replacing batteries. Recommended looking into estimates with the age of the systems. Client is holding off till major issues with system.
