Our client contacted us about replacing their old attic insulation with blown-in attic insulation. We explained how they can save a lot of money on energy bills and even help with the indoor air quality and noise levels in their home.

Start system up. Noticed that the system is a natural draft system, no longer used, as not efficient, to heat. With age of system finding parts for either the ac, or furnace is going to be hard. Did notice aLot of rust starting to eat away at the existing portion of the heat exchanger. Noticed, that the venting on the system, is attached to the water heater, water heater is not venting properly, as it is disconnected, as well as tape holding together exhaust of system, causing a potential risk because not properly venting. Have pictures so home owner can see. With the refrigerant leak last year already happening with the system and not repaired, along with blower wheel showing rust on fins, and blower motor Having issues, system running r22, and being a natural draft inducer. Efficiency wise replacement would be the best options. Left voicemail to go over findings, and options for system.

PGNE came out here before me and shut of the gas because there wasn’t a disconnect switch and the hot surface ignitor failed. They completely capped of the gas for that reason. I reconnected the gas and tried my universal hot surface ignitor but it was too short. I will need to order the oem ignitor from manufacturer. Update: installed oem ignitor and system fired right up. System is working properly as of right now but the two 14x20x1 filters need to be replaced.
