I met with the client to conduct a heat load calculation and design a performance comfort system tailored to their needs. Additionally, I evaluated the current system setup, measured for the new system, and inspected the ductwork and airflow to ensure optimal comfort and performance.

Arrived on site to perform tuneup on a year and a half old heat pump. Upon arrival system powers on when calling for heat and presents a 35° temperature rise. Let system run for 15 minutes to ensure no pressure lockouts. No pressure lockouts populated. Checked amperage on all motors and all motors are pulling proper amperage. Blower motor evaporator coil are clean and in good shape and there are no signs of refrigerant leaks. Ductwork is well sealed and insulation is deep buried. Air filter was replacement was recommended today; Andy agreed and filter was picked up from distributor and changed today. Recommended continued maintenance to ensure warranties on system, as well as prevent any potential system. Breakdowns and membership was signed up for today. Washed outdoor unit today. Tightened all electrical connections. No signs of burning is present on either circuit board. Tested system after Thorough evaluation and system is operating upon departure
Helped Shellie reset the life of her filter on the thermostat. She was also interested in an extra filter. Recommend upgrading to our premium membership but she said maybe next time. Also asked Shellie for a review on yelp. System was left running upon departure.
Called Shellie and walked her through the process to reset life span of the filter. Should be good to go. she will give us a call back tomorrow if it hasn’t changed.
ac tune up: system is operating upon arrival. Shellie has no issues with systems or airflow, but she does have a concern with her thermostat not showing the right lifespan of her filter and the bulb. She also wants her UV bulb replaced. I made sure I addressed her concern. After replacing the UV bulb, her filter is only six months old. Air handler is located in hallway closet. Thermostat is responsive and calling for cool. Temperature split was between 18 to 20°. Blower is clean. Amperage on blower is within range. evaporator coil is also clean. Produces condensation and all water is draining properly. All electrical components were tightened up. No access to attic today. Heat pump is located in backyard. Disconnect and fuses are in great condition. All circuit boards show. No signs of any electrical damage or loose wires. Contactors free from any burn marks. Amperage on all motors are within range. MFG DATE: 2022 EQUIPMENT MFG: Lennox Upon arrival the client stated that the system has been good. The air filter is located attic. The filter is in a okay condition. The duct work is located in attic. Ducting is sealed and intact. Attic insulation is good. Air handler is located attic. I removed the service panel from the unit. Tightened all electrical connections. Blower motor was measured at 2 amps Blower wheel is clean. Indoor coil was clean. Return temperature was 71 degrees. Supply temperature was 52 degrees. Outdoor unit is located ground. Removed the service panel from the unit. Cleaned all debris from the electrical compartment. Tightened high voltage on the contactor switch. Contactor pads are good. Outdoor fan motor is rated for 2.6 max amps and was measured at 2.1 amps. The Compressor was measured at 6.1 amps and is rated for a max amp draw of 18.6 amps. Washed the outdoor coil System is operating correctly. WORK SUGGESTED: install overflow switch and replace filter

The duct work is located in attic. Ducting is sealed and intact. Attic insulation is okay. Air handler is located attic. I removed the service panel from the unit. Tightened all electrical connections. Blower motor was measured at .5 amps Blower wheel is clean. Indoor coil was clean. Return temperature was 67 degrees. Supply temperature was 90 degrees. Outdoor unit is located ground. Removed the service panel from the unit. Cleaned all debris from the electrical compartment. Tightened high voltage on the contactor. The Compressor was measured at 45 RPS Refrigerant type is 410. Refrigerant pressures were 48/287 Outdoor temperature was 55 degrees. Washed the outdoor coil System is operating correctly. Filter replacement is needed every month with amount of people inside household CALCULATIONS: Blower motor was measured at 1.89 amps and was rated for unknown max amps. Blower wheel is clean. Found blower motor failing. Making a loud noise. Ordered blower motor for Lennox. Customer request next week to come back to perform work as they will be out of town for the holiday.
Airflow on the system was set to 1800 for heating, and cooling was set for 725, in living room. Client stated that the system during summer, and ac season that the system worked incredibly well. Adjusted living room area to 825-850 and had client listen to system, airflow was not making noise now.
Age: 15 yr carrier Size: 80k btu Location: gas split attic ground Ducting: R-4 grey flex, sealed and intact but brittle Insulation: R-30 batted Work performed: annual heat maintenance, system is operating at this time but not within manufactured specifications due to inducer motor is running beyond max amps .83 of .75 amps, blower motor is leaking oil and running beyond max amps 9.25 of 8.60 amps, heat exchanger has bad hot spots and especially where insulation was laying on top of the heat exchanger. Cleaned flame sensor, ignitor is good, tighten wires on circuit board, light browning on circuit board, blower capacitor has a charge of 9.13 of 10 mfd, evaporator coil light dust debris, blower compartment is dusty, and getting a temp rise of 47 degrees. Work suggested Talked to the customer of the rebates that are going on. Told him I have a meeting with our rebate person tomorrow morning. Arrived on site for 6 month old install, heat pump, Lennox our install. Talked with client about the system and how they have been enjoying the system, as well as how the heat pump works. And where they should be seeing condensation at the system during heating mode as well. Client stated he’s seen it once and had the heat strips run a bit. Checked filter and coil, all electrical at air handler secure and tight. Filter good, insulation new blow in and duct work silver flex sealed well and blown insulation over the top.
