Upon arrival, system is set to off. Symptoms described, or that the thermostat is reading 5° higher than the thermometer in the bedroom; additionally that the airflow feels very weak. Also, the Daikin thermostat is not connected to the Daikin cloud or the Daikin app. Connected Daikin thermostat to app after resetting thermostat. Once system was reset; the thermostat updated. Powered on and it took a few minutes which is likely due to the system being freshly updated. However, once the system did turn on, tested airflow, and temperature temperature split; airflow and temperature split are both good and the thermometers next to the thermostat are both within 2° of the thermostats reading. System is operating properly upon departure.

System is operating upon arrival. Sarah and her husband tell me that they have a concern with water leaking out of the pan up in the attic. I made sure all the condensate water was draining out from the home and it was just not the same drain line that used to leak out the condensate. I went up to the attic to check the system and didn’t notice any water leaking out of the drain pan. They installed the primary drain line to what used to be the secondary drain line for the older system. I did notice that it had a better pitch to drain water out way quicker . The current secondary drain line was connected to the old primary drain line that goes down the home and outside to a proper drainage that Sarah and her husband were used to. System is operating properly and all water is draining properly but Sarah and her husband do not like the fact that the condensate water comes from a different drain line. I let them know that it could be the way this new system is designed versus they’re older

Upon arrival, indoor fan turns on when calling for cool however nothing turns on outside; no contactor is Present. Outdoor control board shows error code L6 Which indicates “open start circuit” which usually applies compressor not functioning properly. Checked capacitor for good measure and capacitor is out of spec. Tried new capacitor and system still not running. Checked compressor ohms and resistance was not adding up which indicates compressor failure. Informed Chad of diagnosis as well as cost of repairs. Have Andrew from warehouse tracking down part.
