Came to see why there was codes popping up on thermostat. Thermostat was showing system error and fan error. At first started out by updating and resetting thermostat. System was then responsive and began calling for heat, but after a few seconds would shut off again. I went to check out both systems, and wiring. Visually everything looked good. Then I checked the flood switch, and realized, water was backing up into it, causing it to cut power to the system. Then realized that water wasn’t draining properly. I adjusted drain line so water could drain easier and quicker. Ran and tested system after adjustment. System is running properly and water is not backing up into flood switch anymore. System was left running a bond departure.

System is running upon arrival. Addison has no issues with the systems or airflow. He recently just purchased a home and wanted to get a tuneup to make sure everything is operating properly. Thermostat is responsive and calling for cool. Both filters are washable filters, didn’t wash off today due to work being done in the home. Temperature split it between 18 and 20°. Furnace is located in garage. Circuit board has minor electrical damage. All electrical components tightened up. Blower is dirty and needs to be cleaned. Blower starter is out of range and needs to be replaced. Amperage on motor is a little bit higher than normal. Evaporator coil is clean and produces condensation. All water is draining properly. Condenser unit is located to the right of the home. Contactor looks new, but already showing signs of electrical damage, due to high amperage on system. Spoke with Jo Anne on the phone about her recommendations that we weren’t able to speak about at her property. I gave her all her options available to her and let her know about our CCC membership once again and we’ll be able to help her out with more discounts for her. She said she would get back to us on the recommendations but i will also follow up with her a few days from now to see what she’s thinking of doing.

System is operating upon arrival. Jo Anne has no issues with the system, but does have an issue with airflow going to the master bedroom. thermostat is responsible and calling for cool. 15-year-old Furnace is located in garage. Circuitboard in furnace is full of debris, but shows no signs of electrical damage. All electrical components were tightened up. Blower, blower, Plenum, and return. Plenum are very dirty, full of debris, needs a major cleaning. due to the major cleaning of the blower, blower motor has a chance of failing after the cleaning due to the high amps. Blower capacitor is out of range and needs to be replaced. Blower amperage is higher than normal, most likely due to debris and out of range capacitor. Evaporator coil is also full of debris and needs to be cleaned to increase efficiency on the system. Insulation, concerned about size and if he should do zoning or not. New system will have 410a. Wants to move outdoor unit 18 feet.

Arrived on site to perform maintenance on a four-year-old system. Upon arrival system powers on when calling for cool and presents a 20° temperature split. Let system run for 15+ minutes with no error codes populating on the system. Blower fan has light dirt; evaporator coil is starting to have growth buildup on it; due to the growth buildup on the coil I recommended a RM1 air purification system Drain line is free of any debris or back up. Indoor circuit board shows no signs of burning or pitting. Capacitor on outdoor unit is within spec. on outdoor fan as well as compressor is proper. Indoor Fan motor amperage is proper as well. Contactor shows moderate burning; recommended potentially replacing the contactor to prevent any breakdowns. Refrigerant is balanced. Tested system after thorough evaluation and system is operating upon departure.

Arrived on site, for heating tune up on 4 year old split Lennox heat pump, attic and side yard. Talked with client about system, and filter, client has an order placed for new filter, and is arriving tomorrow, may replace their self or have us replace for them, let them know there maybe a charge for us to replace filters. Client also expressed concerns with the systems return grille, return grille had fallen from ceiling onto the floor. One of the clips holding it in place is missing, was able to get it held with 3 out of the 4 clips. Left estimate for new return grille as this one is damaged and warped. Did notice some supply registers were closed, opened the supply registers to have correct airflow into house.
